End of Arrival Day: Thursday

Since we got up and drove to LA., then got on a flight at 7 PM, except for some dozing on the plane we’ve all been up for about 32 hours. The strange part is we’re not super tired because of course it’s 1 PM at home. But I think once our heads hit the pillow we will be able to get some sleep and try to adjust a little bit to this time change. By the way, Paris is eight hours ahead of California. 

While Kristi and the kids took a taxi to the apartment we’re staying in, I waited a couple of hours for Andrew’s flight to come in. He arrived and got through customs with no problems and then we were off to join them at the apartment. Kristi and I went out and did a little shopping in a market, bought some food for dinner, came back and cooked it up. We even found a pastry shop that was open and got some desserts. Everybody seems pretty happy and full and we’re all going to try to get some sleep now.
